Classified for the Conference League next season, Juventus will undergo a renewal in the squad. The Argentine duo formed by Ángel Di María and Leandro Paredes is on the list of departures from the Old Lady, which seeks to reduce the club’s payroll.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, both will leave Juventus at the end of this season. That’s because both Di María and Paredes left Paris Saint Germain in 2022, they signed contracts with Juve until the end of June this year and will not renew.
At the age of 35, Ángel Di María will be free on the market to sign with another club free of charge. The Argentine striker has played 40 games for Juventus this season, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists. Despite having suffered some injuries, he was instrumental in the recovery of the team in A league and was named the best player of the month in February.
The situation of Leandro Paredes is different. The midfielder is on loan from PSG to Juventus and the bond ends at the end of June. Therefore, he will return to the French club next season, but should not be kept in the squad and could be traded.
Paredes was in the starting line-up for the team led by Massimiliano Allegri at the beginning of the season, but lost space over the course of the matches. Hampered by injuries, the Argentine only started in the starting eleven in eight matches of the Italian Championship.
