Mash: Tatyana Tarasova needed emergency help from doctors
Honored coach of the USSR in figure skating Tatyana Tarasova urgently needed the help of doctors. This became known to the Mash Telegram channel.
According to the source, the specialist called an ambulance with complaints of high blood pressure and nausea, but refused hospitalization. In addition, doctors visited the coach twice more on May 24 and June 2. Tarasova complained of a headache, but even then she decided not to go to the hospital.
In October last year, Tarasova was hospitalized. She was supposed to be on the Ice Age jury, but on the set of the first issue, she was replaced by coach Elena Chaikovskaya. According to Mash, doctors diagnosed Tarasova vertebrobasilar insufficiency.
Tarasova was awarded the title of Honored Coach of the USSR in 1975. She was inducted into the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame in 2008. Among her students were Olympic champions Irina Rodnina and Alexei Yagudin.
