Barcelona was proclaimed champion of the Champions League 2023 this Saturday June 3 in Eindhoven (Netherlands) after win the final against Wolfsburg with a result of 3-2. In this way, the Catalan team won the second Champions League in its history.

Barcelona had the first chance of the match, but goalkeeper Frohms saved the Catalans’ shot. Furthermore, two minutes later, Wolfsburg drilled into Barça’s goal; Ewa Pajor scored a great goal (0-1) after beating goalkeeper Sandra Paños with a shot from outside the area.

Later, the Catalan team took possession of the ball and could have equalized in the 13th minute, but Irene Paredes’s shot went just wide. Barça was also able to equalize the game in the 33rd minute; however, Hansen failed to touch the ball after a good cross from the left wing.

The final was very uphill for Barcelona, ​​although before the break they could have closed the gap; however, goalkeeper Merle Frohms emerged victorious from Salma’s one-on-one.

The rest suited a Barcelona that went all out in the second half. In this way, the Barcelona group shortened distances with a both from Patri Guijarro (1-2) in the 48th minute after taking advantage of Hansen’s cross from the left wing.
