After Messi informed that he will not continue in the Paris Saint Germain (PSG) for next season, another player has announced that he will not continue with the French club. The name of the time was defender Sergio Ramos, who will not renew his contract and will leave the club free of charge.
The 37-year-old used his social media this Friday to confirm his departure from the team he has played for in the past two years.
“Thank you for two special years in which I was able to play all the tournaments and give my best level. I will face new challenges, I will use other colors, but first, for the last time: Allez Paris!”, wrote Sergio Ramos.

In an official note, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi thanked the Spanish athlete for his time defending the team’s colors and praised his trajectory in Paris.
“We would like to express our immense gratitude to Sergio Ramos for the two years he spent with us. Sergio’s leadership, team spirit and professionalism, combined with his experience at the highest level, make him a true football legend and it was an honor to have him in Paris. Everyone at the club wishes him the best,” he said.
For now, Sergio Ramos still doesn’t have a certain destination. The defender arrived at PSG in mid-2021, but suffered from physical problems and played little in his first year in France.
In all, the number 4 played in 57 opportunities and scored five times. Sergio Ramos also lifted the World Cup French Championship both in 2022 and 2023.
