Mourinho charged with behavior in Europa League final

UEFA open case against coach Mourinho for swearing in the final of the Europa League

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has opened a disciplinary case against Italian Roma head coach Jose Mourinho. This was reported on the website of the organization.

The reason was the behavior of the coach in the Europa League final, in which the Italians met with the Spanish Sevilla. It is noted that the 60-year-old Portuguese specialist was charged with foul language against match officials.

In the Europa League final, Sevilla were stronger than Roma in the post-match penalty shootout. In regular time, the first goal in the 34th minute was scored by the midfielder of the Romans, Paulo Dybala. In the 55th minute, Sevilla equalized thanks to an own goal from defender Gianluca Mancini.

After the match, Mourinho began to insult the English referee Anthony Taylor in the parking lot of the Puskas Arena stadium. He called it “a fucking disgrace”.
