María Arthuer, mother of the Williams brothers, Athletic’s June ambassador

Maria Arthur, mother of brothers Iñaki and Nico Williamshas been chosen Ambassador of the month of June for the 125th anniversary of Athletic Clubas reported by the rojiblanco club this Friday.
With this appointment, the Bilbao entity wants to recognize “the invaluable contribution that the migrant community that arrived in the Basque Country has made to Athletic since its foundation in 1898”.
Arthuer thus joins on this list jon rahm (January), Jokin Altuna (February), honey tahljieh (March), thomas hitzlsperger (April) and Marino Lejarreta and Joane Somarribaboth representing the Basque fans and cycling (May).
The Williams’ mother will receive the badge on the 8th in San Mamés in a “special edition” of the Letras y Fútbol cycle organized by the Athletic Foundation, entitled “The social and cultural value of migration”.
