Seattle police released a video of the incident with a drunk girl in the room of Valery Nichushkin
The Seattle Police Department released a video of a call at a hotel where an incident allegedly occurred involving Russian forward Valery Nichushkin of the Colorado Avalanche.
Team doctor Bradley Changstrom got into the frame. He told the officer that a 28-year-old woman had been found in the player’s room. “We tried to get her out of the room, but she was very drunk and resisted. I was worried about her safety so I couldn’t just send her in a taxi,” Changström said. The Russian did not appear in the video. It is noted that by the time the police arrived, he was no longer at the hotel.
On April 28, The Denver Post stated that a girl was found in Nichushkin’s hotel room in a state of extreme intoxication. She called herself Russian, but said that she was born in Ukraine. She also stressed that “she should not have come to the US and that some bad person took her passport.” It is noted that no criminal investigation is underway.
On April 25, Nichushkin left the location of the Colorado due to an “alcohol incident.” Gandler later denied reports of these problems. “Nichushkin left the “Colorado” because of problems with alcohol? This is not so,” he noted.
