Barabanov, Kuzmenko and Buchnevich included in the top most profitable contracts of the season in the NHL
The Athletic has included three Russian players in the top most lucrative contracts of the 2022/2023 season in the National Hockey League (NHL). The list is available on the publication’s website.
The rating was based on the price-quality ratio among all teams in the league for the season. The list includes 28-year-old San Jose Sharks forward Alexander Barabanov, who receives a salary of $ 2.5 million a year.
In addition, the publication noted the 28-year-old St. Louis Blues forward Pavel Buchnevich (with a salary of $5.8 million a year) and the 27-year-old Vancouver Canucks forward Andrei Kuzmenko (with a salary of $950,000 a year).
