“When I arrived at Leipzig more than three years ago, it was already a big step for me, as a young prospect in a big European league,” Olmo said in a statement from his club.

“Everyone here helped me and I was able to perform. RB Leipzig is a fantastic club, in a fantastic city and with fantastic fans. I am very happy with this contract renewal”, he added.

The Spanish press claims that Olmo’s contract has a termination clause of around 60 million euros (323 million reais at current prices).
