“If big players and big names come, young players, veteran players … they will be very welcome because if that happens, the league will improve a little bit,” added the 38-year-old.
The next world star expected to arrive in Saudi football is Karim Benzema. The french received a salary offer of 200 million euros and is inclined to leave the Real Madridfrom Spain, at the end of his contract, which expires in June.
“The league is very good, but I think we have many, many opportunities to continue growing. The league is competitive. We have very good teams, very good Arab players. But they need to improve the infrastructure a little more. Even the referees, the system VAR… they should be a little faster,” said Cristiano Ronaldo.
Great team spirit to come back and win it!

“I think there are other little things they need to improve. But I’m happy here, I want to stay here, I’m going to stay here. And in my opinion, if they continue to do the job they want to do here for the next five years, I think the league Saudi can be one of the top five leagues in the world,” he added.
This season, Cristiano Ronaldo’s team finished second in the Saudi Championship, with 67 points, five behind champions Al-Ittihad. The star scored 14 goals and provided two assists in 16 matches played.
