Conor McGregor Says He’s Ready To Fight Three To Four Times A Year For The UFC Championship Belt
Irish mixed martial artist (MMA) Conor McGregor has announced his desire to win another Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) belt. His words are available on the UFC Russia YouTube channel.
“We need to continue, move on, this is not the end. There is an Irish flag on the new UFC belt, so I need to add it to my collection, ”said the athlete. McGregor added that one fight a year is not enough, and he is ready to fight three to four times a year to achieve his goal.
Previously, McGregor announced the date of his next fight. He said he plans to fight American Michael Chandler before the end of 2023.
McGregor last fought in the summer of 2021, losing to American Dustin Poirier by technical knockout. The Irishman suffered a broken leg, from which he is still recovering.
McGregor is a former UFC Lightweight and Featherweight Champion. In total, the Irishman has 28 fights in which he won 22 victories and suffered six defeats.
