Lokomotiv said that under the new contract, Artem Dzyuba receives a decent salary
Sports director of Lokomotiv Dmitry Ulyanov revealed the details of the new contract of striker Artem Dziuba. His words are reported by RIA Novosti.
“The financial terms under the agreement, of course, have changed, because Artem came to completely different conditions and at first we didn’t talk about money at all. Now the conditions have become better, they correspond to his level, his salary is decent, ”said Ulyanov. He noted that the parties managed to quickly agree on the terms of the agreement.
Lokomotiv announced the extension of the contract with Dzyuba on May 25. The new agreement with the 34-year-old striker runs until the end of the 2023/2024 season with the possibility of a one-year extension. According to journalist Ivan Karpov, the player will be paid 120 million rubles a year.
Dzyuba moved to Lokomotiv on February 8. In the 2022/2023 season, he made 12 appearances for the team in all competitions, scoring eight goals and making five assists.
