Matheus Henrique scores, but Sassuolo draws Sampdoria in the Italian

In a commitment valid for the 37th round of the Italian ChampionshipSampdoria and Sassuolo faced each other at the Luigi Ferraris stadium, in Genoa, and drew 2-2. Gabbiadini and Erlic (own goal) scored for the home team this Friday, while Berardi and Matheus Henrique scored for the visitors .

The game

The start of the first half was very busy in Genoa. In the eighth minute, Gabbiadini stole the ball from Ferrari in the attacking field and touched it with his left leg, as goalkeeper Consigli left, to open the scoring for Sampdoria.

However, Sassuolo’s reaction was practically immediate. In the next minute, Berardi received a pass from Ceide in the penalty area and tied the duel. The turning point came at 11, when Matheus Henrique took advantage of Zortea’s cross on the right and appeared in the area to head and turn the game around.

Already in the second stage, Sampdoria pressed and managed to score again thanks to an unfortunate opponent’s defense. In the 33rd minute, after a corner kick, the ball hit Erlic and ended up going over the line.
