Oier Lazkano puts on the leader’s jersey after winning the second stage of the Boucles de la Mayenne race

The cyclist from Vitoria Oier Lazkano (Movistar Team) has been placed leader of the Boucles de la Mayenne racewhich is taking place from May 25 to 28, after winning the second stage. Lazkano has reached the goal of Meslay-du-Maine with a clear advantage ahead of the French Célestin Guillon (Van Rysel – Roubaix Lille Metropole) and from danish Jacob Hindsgaul (Uno-X Pro Cycling Team).
He just went for the escape of the day and left them behind with 10 kilometers left to finish the stage. From then on, no one has been able to keep up with him and challenge him for victory.
Lazkano reached the finish line alone with an advantage of just over half a minute over Guillon and Hindsgaul. Thus, he snatches the lead from the Portuguese Ivo Oliveirawho prevailed on the first day, and is placed with 42 second lead about him in general.
