Ukrainian Chelsea player Mudrik convicted of humiliating a man in a video from the gym
Ukrainian Chelsea footballer Mykhailo Mudryk was criticized for a video from the gym, which he posted on Instagram (the social network is banned in the Russian Federation; owned by Meta Corporation, recognized as an extremist organization and banned in Russia).
The midfielder posted a video on a social network, which depicts an elderly man doing exercises on a simulator. During the lesson, the man’s pants came down. Mudrik blurred this part of the image and accompanied the video with a question mark.
On social networks, Mudrik was condemned for humiliating a person. Popular fitness trainer Joey Swall suggested that the player was attracting attention in this way. “What the fuck is wrong with you? You are a professional footballer playing in the English Premier League (EPL) for Chelsea! Do you really want to represent your team like this?” he wondered.
Earlier, Mudrika was accused of racism for the video in which he performs the track “Freestyle” hip-hop of the performer Lil Baby, which is 16 times mentioned by the word “niger”. The representative of the player said that the athlete deeply regrets what happened.
Mudrik joined Chelsea in January 2023. His contract with the club runs until 2031.
