CSKA midfielder Chidera Ejuke, who suspended the contract, thought about returning to the club
CSKA legionnaire Chidera Ejuke, who plays on loan for the German Hertha, is thinking about returning to the club. This was told to Metaratings by the agent of the Nigerian player Atta Aneke.
“Chidera is ready to return to CSKA, but we will consider all available options,” Aneke said. The agent noted that at the moment he cannot accurately answer the question of whether the midfielder will extend the suspension of the contract with the Moscow team.
Ejuke moved to Hertha in July 2022, taking advantage of the fact that the International Football Federation (FIFA) allowed the legionnaires of the Russian Premier League (RPL) to unilaterally suspend agreements. On May 22, 2023, FIFA extended this option.
Ejuke has been playing for CSKA since August 2020. As part of the team, he played 65 matches in all competitions, scored ten goals and eight assists. For Hertha, the footballer played in 20 Bundesliga meetings and scored three goals.
