João Félix’s loan deal with Chelsea is coming to an end. The striker was loaned by Madrid’s athletic in January of this year and only two games remain before returning to Spanish football. However, João Félix wants to remain in the Blues.
“I still don’t know about my future, but I have loved my experience over the last five months. It is a ‘top’ club. Everyone welcomed me very well, my teammates were unbelievable and I would really like to be here (next season)”, declared the Portuguese to the page The Secret Scout. Watch!

Despite the player’s will, João Félix’s stay at Chelsea would involve a loan renewal or a permanent purchase, scenarios that appear unlikely. That’s because Atlético de Madrid wants to sell the player for around 100 million euros and the London club is not interested in paying such an amountaccording to Marca newspaper.
Chelsea paid 11 million euros to have João Félix until June of this year. The Portuguese entered the field 38 times, scored eight goals and provided three assists. In the last matches, he lost space under the command of Frank Lampard and only started in one of the last six games.
In the English Championship, the Blues occupy the 12th position with 43 points, that is, outside the classification zone for any European competition. There are only two games left in the tournament and Chelsea will face Manchester United and Newcastle in the next rounds.
