Arsenal renew contract with striker Saka until 2027

English runner-up, the Arsenal announced this Tuesday morning the signing of a new contract with striker Bukayo Saka, 21 years old. The club renewed the player’s bond until 2027 – the previous one would end in June 2024.

Saka was one of the pillars of the London team during the beautiful campaign in the current edition of Premier League. The Englishman has scored 14 goals and 11 assists this season, surpassing last year’s mark of 12 goals. In total, there are already more than 170 matches for the team.

The news was celebrated by coach Mikel Arteta, who reinforced the importance of ensuring the permanence of the club’s young athletes, like Saka.

The boy was trained in Arsenal’s youth system and went through all the stages until his debut for the main team arrived in 2018. Saka said that there was no better place to take the “next step”.
