In the Czech Republic, they said they did not receive a response from Russia about the ban on the transition of the figure skater Chirizano
The Czech Figure Skating Association reacted to the refusal of the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) to let figure skater Dario Chirizano join their national team. The comment is published by RIA Novosti.
The Czech Republic said that no final decision had been made. They stressed that they had not received an official response about the ban on crossing from Russia.
On May 18, it became known that the FFKKR executive committee did not approve Chirizano’s transfer to the Czech national team. The head coach of the national team, Elena Chaikovskaya, said that the skater is a member of the national team, in which a lot of money was invested.
Chirizano’s plans to move to the Czech national team became known on May 7. At the same time, the skater announced that he was paired with the Czech figure skater Deniz Tsimlova. The duo will train at the Montreal Ice Dance Academy.
Chirizano is the champion of the Youth Olympic Games 2020 and the winner of the Russian Championship in 2022. Previously, for several years he performed in a duet with Irina Khavronina, but in January they stopped working on the initiative of a partner.
