The world number one suffered since Thursday. He started badly, with 76 strokes (+6), straightened out on Friday with a 68 (-2) that allowed him to make the cut, and finished again over par (72) on Saturday, marked by rain.
This Sunday, the player from Barrika got off to a strong start, with birdies to 1 and 2 to get -2 in the last round and +4 in the total. Then he chained seven pairis until a bogey at 10 it brought him down to -1. Two more on 17 and 18 made him finish one over par on the field.
