Conor McGregor says fight with Michael Chandler will take place before the end of 2023
Irish mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Conor McGregor has announced the dates for his next fight. His words are quoted by Matchroom Boxing.
“Fight with [Майклом] Chandler will take place this year, 100%. December, maybe even earlier. All calls have been made, the process is running. I will fight until the end of the year, ”said the athlete.
On December 15, 2022, 34-year-old McGregor dropped out of the top 15 fighters in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in lightweight for the first time in eight years. The Irishman was 14th on the list, now in this position is the American Grant Dawson.
McGregor last fought in the summer of 2021, losing to American Dustin Poirier by technical knockout. The Irishman suffered a broken leg, from which he is still recovering.
