The draw for the Club World Cup will be held next Monday, November 29 in Zurich, starting at 11:00 in Ecuador, FIFA reported in a statement.
Seven teams will participate in the tournament, which will be played in the United Arab Emirates in the first leg of 2022 on dates yet to be specified:
- Al Hilal (KSA, Asian Champions League winner)
- Al Ahly (EGY, winner of the African Champions League)
- Rayados Monterrey (MEX, winner of the Concacaf Champions League)
- The winner of the Copa Libertadores (the winner of the Flamengo-Palmeiras final)
- Auckland City (NZL, elected by the OFC Executive for the cancellation of the Champions of Oceania by the covid)
- Chelsea (ING, winner of the European Champions League)
- Al Jazira (UAE, winner of the Emirati League)
The event will be presented by journalist Samantha Johnson, who will be accompanied by the director of the FIFA tournaments subdivision, Jaime Yarza, who will carry out the draw with the collaboration of John Terry, former Chelsea captain and 78 times caps for England. (D)
