Aris footballer Alexander Kokorin was named the best player of the season in the Cypriot Championship
The Russian striker of Aris Alexander Kokorin was chosen as the best player in the Cypriot championship following the results of the 2022/2023 season. This was reported on the team’s website.
The football player received the Cyprus Football Association Award. Last season, he played 28 matches in all competitions for Aris, scored 13 goals and provided six assists.
On April 11, Sport-Express reported that Kokorin would most likely return to the Italian team at the end of the 2022/2023 season. It was noted that in Cyprus they are satisfied with the performance of the Russian, but they will not be able to redeem him because of the high salary.
Kokorin has been playing for Aris on loan since August 2022. The rights to the player belong to the Italian Fiorentina. The forward is also known for his performances with Zenit, Spartak, Dynamo Moscow and the Russian national team.
