British boxer Tyson Fury said he was ready to fight Ukrainian Usyk at any time
British heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury on Instagram (the social network is banned in the Russian Federation; belongs to the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in Russia and banned) criticized the Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.
The athlete wrote that he could not wait for the moment when he knocked out an opponent. He stressed that he had not received messages from the Ukrainian team for a long time, adding that he was ready to fight at any time. “Bastard! Cowardly, ugly, goggle-eyed bum. Keep running from me, rabbit,” Fury said.
Fury and Usyk were supposed to fight on April 29, but on March 22, the manager of the Ukrainian Egis Klimas announced the cancellation of the fight. It is noted that the athletes could not agree on the distribution of fees. Their negotiations have been going on since the fall of 2022.
Fury has 33 wins, one draw and no losses. He owns the World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight championship belt.
Usyk has 20 wins in 20 fights. He holds the World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF), International Boxing Organization (IBO) and WBA Super heavyweight championship belts.
