It was very difficult for us to turn around, we tried, but it became much more difficult, because their performance was very good”, analyzed Ancelotti.

“I think they pressed us a lot in the first half. They pressed high in front of our area and controlled the ball well. I expected at the beginning of the game that this was really intense on his part. I had no idea that they would want to control the ball, but it is clear that this sometimes happens in football and we have to accept it. They put a lot of pressure on, they played on the sidelines. Nothing new, it is a great team”, he concluded.

“The idea is to fight, compete this season, last season, in the Champions League and in other competitions as well. We do it well, we have to accept it, from time to time it will happen. We can’t always win. Once in a while when will we be beaten and we have to come back for the next season”, he said.

Despite having no more chances to win the Spanishwon in advance by the Barcelona, Real Madrid still have four more commitments for the competition. The next one will be on Sunday, at 13:30 (Brasília time), against Valencia.
