Former Palmeirense Valdivia is admitted to a psychiatric hospital, according to newspaper

Former player of palm trees, Jorge Valdivia has been admitted to a psychiatric hospital in Chile since last Friday. According to the newspaper The timethe Chilean has been facing “personal problems” and had a panic attack.

The newspaper says that Valdivia entered the hospital alone, but was “very agitated”. The former athlete would have shown strong signs of panic syndrome, a condition associated with sudden attacks of acute anxiety, which can be accompanied by malaise and physical symptoms.

Also according to local news, the former player has received medical care and was treated with anxiolytic drugs, used against depression. No release date yet.
