Russian-German mixed martial arts fighter (MMA) Abusupyan Magomedov spoke in an interview with the Ushatayka YouTube channel about the advice of the former champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Magomedov recalled that Nurmagomedov recommended that he inspect the arena in advance, where the duel would take place. “Khabib told me: “When you enter, look around, look at every corner of the building so that you can determine the distance to the opponent, so that you visually understand what room you are in,” the fighter shared.
32-year-old Magomedov spent 30 fights in MMA, in which he won 25 victories and suffered four losses. Another duel with his participation ended in a draw. In the UFC, he fought once, in September 2022, defeating American Dustin Stoltzfuss.
The next fight of Magomedov, who plays in the middleweight division, will take place on July 1. He will fight American Sean Strickland at the UFC tournament in Las Vegas.
