Inter Milan beat Milan 0-2 the ‘derbi della Madonnina’ corresponding to the first leg of the semifinals of the Champions League that was played on Wednesday, May 10 at the San Siro stadium. After this result, the interista team took a giant step to play the final which will take place in Istanbul.

From the beginning Inter was better and it didn’t take long for them to take the lead on the scoreboard. Dzeko made it 0-1 on the scoreboard after a corner that he finished off masterfully. Also, three minutes later Mkhitaryan scored 0-2; Milan’s defense gave facilities to the rival and the Armenian player did not miss the gift.

The match was very uphill for Milan and it could have been worse, but Calhanoglu’s shot hit the post. The ‘rossonero’ group reacted in the last 15 minutes of the first part, but was not able to pierce the rival goal.

After the break, Milan came out better and was able to close the gap; however, Tonali’s shot hit the post. The milanistas tried, but Inter knew how to contain the opponent, set the pace that most interested them and endured their two-goal lead.

In the end, victory for Inter (0-2) and both teams will meet again on Tuesday, May 16 in the same setting (Guiseppe Meazza when Inter plays at home) to see which of the two wins the ticket for the great final.
