Orenburg coach Lichka said he could be criticized for his decision to stay in Russia
The head coach of the club of the Russian Premier League (RPL) “Orenburg” Marcel Lichka spoke about the reaction of the Czechs to his decision to stay in Russia. His words are quoted by Sport-Express.
“Whoever wants to say that I am bad because I work in Russia have every right to criticize. I can tell such a person that I accept his opinion, but I myself think differently, ”said the specialist. He added that he has the right to work where he is comfortable.
In April, Lichka spoke about what surprised him the most in Russia. According to him, in RPL clubs, local players are afraid to take on the game and improvise.
Lichka headed Orenburg in 2020. Under his leadership, the team reached the RPL this season. As a coach of Dynamo Brest, he became the champion of Belarus.
