He Tour of Italy 2023 will dispute his Fifth stage he Wednesday May 10 with a practically flat stage, with a route of 171 kilometers between atripalda and Salerno, and a cumulative drop of 2,400 meters.
Stage characterized by continuous ups and downs in the first two thirds and practically flat at the end, conducive to a massive arrival that decides the victory in the sprint. The route has two small slopes, both of the third category: Passo Serra at kilometer 11.6 and Oliveto Citra at kilometer 113.9.
The last 15 kilometers until reaching the finish line in Salerno are practically flat. This, together with a final stretch of 800 meters long, augurs an end to the sprint.
