Russian mixed style fighter (MMA) Usman Nurmagomedov, who is the cousin of former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, posted an appeal and a photo dedicated to his friend Kamal Idrisov on Instagram.
The athlete said that for him friendship is the most reliable thing in the world. “More reliable than a dollar,” the fighter wrote, posting a joint photo with Idrisov.
On November 11, Usman Nurmagomedov was detained at the Moscow Sheremetyevo airport. According to law enforcement officers, before flying to the capital from Makhachkala, his friend hit a police officer in a car, the fighter was in the passenger seat at that moment. The car was left abandoned in Dagestan, and the athlete and a friend went to Moscow. They were detained and a criminal case was opened, and Nurmagomedov received the status of a witness.
Usman Nurmagomedov speaks for the American organization Bellator. He won the first promotion tournament in Russia, which took place on 23 October in Moscow.
