Osimhein redeems himself as Napoli beat Fiorentina at home in first game after Serie A title

Italian Champion with six rounds to spare, the Napoli played the first game at Estadio Diego Armando Maradona, in Naples, after confirming his third Serie A title in history, the first without the club’s idol, Diego Maradona. This Sunday, the team commanded by Spaletti, Fiorentina, by 1 to 0, for the 34th round.

Osimhein missed the first penalty kick, but then converted the second. Thus, Napoli has 83 points, while Fiorentina has, and remains in eighth place.

Both teams return to the field next Sunday, May 14th. Napoli face Monza, at Stadio Brianteo, at 10:30 am (Brasília time). Fiorentina, on the other hand, will face Udinese, at 10 am, at the Artemio Franchi Stadium.

The teams played a very lukewarm first half, without many clear chances to open the scoring. At 18 minutes, Fiorentina scared Napoli’s defense, with a shot by Jovic, which ended up being saved by Gollini. The best chance of the home team came only at 42 minutes. Elmas gave Osimhein a good touch in the area, but the number 9 sent it outside the net.

Two minutes into the second half, Fiorentina did poorly, Lobotka was attentive to recover, invaded the area and was brought down by Amrabat and the referee awarded the penalty. In the collection, Osimhein stopped in Terracciano’s defense. At 17, Osimhein had another chance to open the scoring, but stopped on the post. He won the dispute with Milenkovic and covered the goalkeeper. The ball dropped almost to the line, hit the crossbar and went out.

Napoli were awarded another penalty after Kvaratskelia was brought down in the area. Again in charge, Osimhein this time converted. In addition, Anguissa tried from outside the area and sent it close to the post.
