The Liverpool team has just one point less than Manchester United, the last team in the Champions League qualifying zone. However, the Red Devils It has two rounds less. Brentford have 50 points and are in ninth place.
Klopp’s team now returns to the field on May 15, when they face Leicester City, at 4 pm (Brasília time), at the King Power Stadium. Brentford, in turn, duel with West Ham, on Sunday, the 14th, at 10 am.

At 12 minutes Liverpool opened the scoring. Fabinho crossed in the area for Vin Dijk, the defender headed for Salah, who almost lost control, but recovered and filled the net.
Shortly after, Darwin Nunes received a free kick and had a chance to extend, but the Uruguayan kicked over the Brentford goalkeeper. In the 40th minute, Brentford came very close to equalizing, but Ivan Toney’s shot went just wide of Alisson’s crossbar.
