Minem will keep the LPG balloon within the Price Stabilization Fund

The head of the Ministry of Energy and Mines (Minem), oscar verareported this Saturday that they will bet on keeping the LPG balloon within the Price Stabilization Fund (FEPC).

“We are going to try to continue with the proposal because (bottled LPG) is a basic necessity product and we do not want to affect consumers. We will keep it indefinitely as long as we see that the price is high.”he pointed out in RPP, considering that from May 26 he would no longer be in the FEPC.

In addition, the official maintained that “the good news” is that at the international level the gas markers are falling, for which “there is no need to worry so much.”

Commercialization of LPG at home from Talara

Vera Gargurevich specified that the New Talara Refinery it will commercialize domestic LPG from the startup of the catalytic cracking unit, and it is expected to produce 5,000 barrels per day for a region that “approximately consumes up to 2,500 barrels.”

“I estimate that, in about 10 days, when the unit is stable, it will already be on the market,” he said.
