Father of Alexei Shved said that the basketball player feels better
Viktor Shved, father of CSKA basketball club defender Alexei Shved, spoke about his son’s condition after the beating. His words are quoted by Match TV.
“I was in the hospital with the children. He rejoiced. He feels better, much better, ”said the athlete’s father, stressing that he sends his son photos from the VTB United League playoff matches.
On May 5, a court in Moscow arrested four suspects in beating a basketball player. 20-year-old Prince Amirslanov, his 17-year-old brother Ramzin, their driver Yusuf and 19-year-old Pisarev were sent to a pre-trial detention center until July 2. The defendants were charged under Part 2 of Article 213 (“Hooliganism committed by a group of persons with the use of violence against citizens”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
The attack on Shved became known on May 2. As a result of a fight at the entrance to a restaurant in the center of Moscow, the basketball player received a head injury. At the hospital, he was also diagnosed with retrograde amnesia, a fracture of the temporal bone, and an epidural hematoma.
