European Champions Alexandra Boikova and Dmitry Kozlovsky switched from Moskvina to Tutberidze
Two-time champions of Russia in figure skating in pairs Alexander Boikova and Dmitry Kozlovsky moved from the group of Tamara Moskvina to coach Eteri Tutberidze. This was announced to RIA Novosti by the Director General of the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) Alexander Kogan.
He said that the athletes applied to the FFKKR. Boikova on her Instagram (a social network banned in the Russian Federation; owned by the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and banned) thanked Moskvina for the years of joint work. She also wrote that the couple made such a decision to move on and try new things.
Under the leadership of Moskvina, Boikov and Kozlovsky won the 2020 European Championship, and also won two bronze medals in the continental championship and one in the world. They also have two gold medals of the Russian championship. At the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing, the couple took fourth place in the individual tournament.
Moskvina, since 2014, has been the head of the Star Ice Children and Youth Sports School of the Olympic Reserve in St. Petersburg. She currently coaches current world and Russian champions Anastasia Mishina and Alexander Gallyamov.
