Brazilian scores, but Casa Pia concedes a late draw to Portimonense in the Portuguese Championship

This Friday, Casa Pia received Portimonense in the opening of the 31st round of the Portuguese Championshipat Estádio Nacional do Jamor, in Oeiras (POR), and drew 1-1. Brazilian Lucas Soares opened the scoring for the home team, but Bryan Rochez left everything the same.

Thus, the home team maintain a negative streak without a win in the competition – there are six consecutive games, with four defeats and two draws. Even so, it rises to ninth place, with 40 points, surpassing Vizela, who still plays nothing round. Now, it is eight points from the classification zone for the European leagues.

In the next round, therefore, Casa Pia will visit vice-leader Porto, at 4:30 pm (Brasília time) on Sunday (14), at Estádio do Dragão, in the city of Porto (POR). The previous afternoon, starting at 2 pm, Portimonense will receive the leader Benfica, at Estádio Municipal de Portimão, in Portimão (POR).

Casa Pia opened the scoring in the 24th minute of the second half, with midfielder Lucas Soares. The Brazilian received it in the area on the right, dominated by cutting to the middle and hit hard with his left foot to score a beautiful goal.

However, when the confrontation seemed to end for a victory for the hosts, the Honduran Bryan Rochez left everything equal in the 50th minute of the second half – penultimate minute of the game.
