“Let’s review the timeline. My sporting direction informed me earlier this week of the decision to suspend Leo. So I’ve taken the decision not to comment on it,” Galtier responded on Friday.
Messi’s departure from PSG games and training was due to an unauthorized trip by the number 30 to Saudi Arabia. The 35-year-old player has already decided that he will not renew with the French and may not wear the team’s shirt anymore.

Galtier also commented on the fan demonstrations in recent days. In uniform, they went to the club’s headquarters and in front of Messi and Neymar’s houses to express discontent with the club’s management and the athletes’ attitudes. The coach, who was also the target of criticism, repudiated the attitude.
“We have to be careful with that, because privacy is still privacy. I can understand the anger, the disappointment of our fans, the demonstration in front of the headquarters, our workplace, but I don’t accept that we go to a player’s house, “he said.
