The author of the goal in Udine was the Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, the team’s top scorer in this Serie A with 22 goals.

“He is a very, very strong player, with heart and availability for the team”, analyzed Spalletti. “Where the ball goes, he always runs after it like a boy. He does a lot of things for the team and he scored the decisive goal of this ‘Scudetto’. It’s a deserved reward,” he said.

Osimhen himself was also euphoric with the achievement. “It’s an incredible feeling. We’ve been waiting for this for a long time. The champions will still play five more matches until the end of the season. The next one will be on Sunday, at 1 pm (Brasília time), when he will receive Fiorentina at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, in Naples.
