The Dutch cyclist Marianne Vos (Jumbo-Visma) repeated stage victory in La Vuelta Femenina, which also leadsby winning this Thursday on the fourth day, played between Cuenca and Guadalajara over 133.1 kilometersby beating the sprint to Emma Norsgaard and the rest of the rivals.
After winning in La Roda in the third stage, and prevailing with his team in the initial time trial, Vos achieved his second solo partial victory in this Women’s Tour with a new exhibition, winning with a margin in Guadalajara.
Only 22 cyclists entered with the same time as the Dutch, with another six to 3 seconds when the group was cut in the final fight. And it is that it was a stage that had several leaks and fighters in its first section, and attacks by important names in the final part.
Without a doubt, the Movistar Team tried to move the hornet’s nest. And he did it twice with the German champion Liane Lippert and on two other occasions with its leader, world champion Annemiek Van Vleuten.
In the end, the group, selected by so many changes of pace, arrived together and there was a massive sprint. The same one who dominated Marianne Vos with overwhelming superiority to achieve her 248th win of her career.
Now, the Dutch woman has a 25-second advantage over the American Chloe Dygert and 26 and 34 seconds respectively over their teammates in Team Jumbo-Visma Riejanne Markus and Amber Kraak.
