The President of CSKA said that the Shved hospitalized after the attack feels better
Andrey Vatutin, president of the CSKA basketball club, spoke about the condition of defender Alexei Shved, who was hospitalized after the attack. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
Vatutin said that the athlete feels better. “An additional examination is being carried out, as a result of which a decision will be made on the further tactics of his treatment. Everything will be fine, but I can’t say how long the treatment will take,” he said.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced the arrest of three suspects in the attack on Shved. A criminal case was initiated under Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Causing grievous bodily harm with the use of objects used as weapons”).
The attack on Shved became known on May 2. As a result of a fight at the entrance to a restaurant in the center of Moscow, the basketball player received a head injury. At the hospital, he was also diagnosed with retrograde amnesia, a fracture of the temporal bone, and an epidural hematoma.
