Scientists have proven that exercising outside has a positive effect on mental abilities
Scientists from the University of Victoria, UK, explained the benefits of outdoor sports. This is reported by the journal Nature.
Study leader Katherine Boer said that outdoor exercise has a positive effect on mental performance. According to the results of the experiment, students who exercised outdoors showed higher academic results than those who stayed indoors.
And Claire Wicks, a senior fellow at the University of Essex, said in an interview with The Washington Post that outdoor activities also have a more positive effect on psychological well-being. “People reported feeling significantly calmer after a 15-minute walk or light jog in parks or similar places,” she said.
Earlier, fitness trainer Greg Justice called exercises dangerous to health. He advised against high-intensity interval training, kipping pull-ups and leg presses.
