Bellew says the only boxer Fury will never break is Usyk

Former World Boxing Council (WBC) world champion Tony Bellew has named Tyson Fury’s undefeated opponent. Bellew’s words are quoted by Boxing Scene.

The ex-champion noted that Fury always breaks his opponents mentally, but the only one he will never break is the Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk. “Tyson has gone from being an awkward, slippery and fast fighter to an aggressive striker who puts his weight on his front foot and works as a counterattack. And this plays into the hands of Usyk, ”added Bellew.

Fury and Usyk were supposed to fight on April 29, negotiations have been going on since the fall of 2022. However, on March 22, the manager of the Ukrainian Egis Klimas announced the cancellation of the fight, as the athletes could not agree on the distribution of fees. “No matter how much Usyk compromised, he was still put forward new demands,” he stressed.

Fury has 33 wins, one draw and no losses. He owns the WBC heavyweight championship belt.

Usyk has 20 wins in 20 fights. He holds the World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF), International Boxing Organization (IBO) and WBA Super heavyweight championship belts.
