Mash: figure skater Roman Kostomarov has prostheses on his foot and hand
It became known about the prosthetics for the Olympic champion in ice dancing Roman Kostomarov. This is reported by the Telegram channel Mash.
According to the publication, the athlete was fitted with prostheses on the foot and hand. It is noted that Kostomarov is on the mend and is currently undergoing rehabilitation before being transported to a clinic in Germany.
A RIA Novosti source close to the situation called this information speculation, but confirmed that the athlete’s condition is improving. “Kostomarov can stay [в больнице] Until August. It is planned that he will return home after prosthetics and rehabilitation,” he added.
On April 26, it was reported that Kostomarov had difficulties in the rehabilitation process. “They are trying hard to restore mobility, but it’s difficult for him to exercise,” one of RBC’s sources said.
Kostomarov was hospitalized on 10 January. According to Moskovsky Komsomolets, the figure skater was amputated with both feet, then the shins of both legs, the entire right hand, and several fingers of the left hand.
