Modric suffers muscle injury and becomes doubtful in King’s Cup and Champions League decisions

On Friday morning, the Real Madrid released a medical bulletin on social media reporting the injury suffered by Luka Modric. The Croatian midfielder could be out for up to two weeks, becoming absent in the final of the King’s Cup and in the semifinal of the Champions League.

“Following tests carried out on our player Luka Modrić by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the back of the thigh of his left leg. Evolution pending”, wrote Real Madrid in an official statement.

After playing in the Copa del Rey, the team led by Carlo Ancelotti faces Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabéu, for the first leg of the Champions League semifinal.
