Valery Nichushkin’s agent Gandler denied information about the player’s “alcohol incident”
Mark Gandler, agent of the Russian striker “Colorado Avalanche” Valery Nichushkin, commented on the information about the player’s problems with alcohol. Gandler’s words are quoted by Metaratings.
“Nichushkin left the “Colorado” because of problems with alcohol? This is not so, ”Gandler denied the data.
Earlier on April 25, insider Frank Seravalli said that the Russian missed the third game of the National Hockey League (NHL) quarter-final playoff series against the Seattle Cracken due to an “alcohol incident.” Presumably, it happened on April 21 at the team’s hotel. Details were not specified.
Nichushkin is a graduate of the Chelyabinsk “Tractor”. For two seasons he played in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) for CSKA. The striker has been playing in the NHL since 2018, in 2019 he joined the Colorado team. In the 2022/2023 season, the Russian won the Stanley Cup with the team.
