Tottenham sacked, this Monday, their interim coach, Cristian Stellini, a day after the defeat suffered by Newcastle by 6 to 1, for Premier League. The Italian succeeded his compatriot Antonio Conte, whose assistant he was, at the end of March.
Tottenham is fifth in the table, six points behind Newcastle (3rd) and Manchester United (4th), who will be the last classified for the next Champions League.
The Club announces that Cristian Stellini is no longer the team’s coach. Ryan Mason will take over until the end of the season.

This defeat was deemed “totally unacceptable” by club chairman Daniel Levy. The team’s new coach, Ryan Mason, is a former Tottenham and England player, who had to hang up his boots in 2018 at just 26 years old, because of a head injury.
Mason had already been interim coach at the end of the 2020-2021 season, following the sacking of José Mourinho.
