Despite a bad spell as a coach, Solskjaer is United’s idol as a player. The athlete wore the colors of the English club between 1996 and 2007, winning six titles in the Premier League and one of Champions League.
Michael Carrick will lead the team as the club looks for an interim coach until the end of the season. Manchester’s next commitment will be against Villarreal, away from home, this Tuesday, for the fifth round of the Champions League.
