Naturalized Zenit striker Claudinho made a choice between the national teams of Russia and Brazil. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
The football player said that he did not think about playing for the Russian national team. He noted that there are many talented and high-quality Russian athletes worthy of playing for the national team. “Playing for the Brazilian national team remains my goal. I am sure that everything depends only on me and on how I will prove myself while playing for the club, ”Claudinho emphasized.
The change of Claudinho’s citizenship to Russian became known on February 24.
