Neighbors spoke about the condition of the Russian handball player “Astrakhanochka” Victoria Divak before her death. Their words are quoted by REN TV.
“She lived across the floor from me, the window was open. I cried a lot, ”said a resident of the house in which the athlete died. Another witness confirmed that a glass of wine was found in Divak’s apartment. At the same time, all the neighbors positively described the deceased.
The death of the athlete became known on April 17. It was reported that Divak fell from the eighth floor of an apartment building. It was clarified that no note was found at the scene of the incident. A handball player’s mobile phone was found on the balcony, as well as a glass of alcohol.
Divak is a three-time Russian champion with Dynamo-Sinara. The point guard is also known for her performances for Kuban, Astrakhanochka, which she transferred to in 2021, the German Halle-Neustadt, the French Achenheim Truchtersheim and the Belarusian Gomel. In 2009, together with the Russian junior team, Divak won silver at the European Championship.
